Hi folks! Many of you are wondering what’s up with Installer 4. No, we haven’t slowed down the work on it, and are currently in the final stages of hooking the GUI to the back-end. We will be contacting the authors of the major repositories in a few days to invite them into the testing process and to prepare for the upcoming repository changes.
Meanwhile, here’s a few actual screenshots so you can check out how the new Installer 4 will look like:

well if you’re on a mac, open up the terminal app. once in there paste this code into it and press enter:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool true
Now you dont have to wait like 10+ minutes to sync your iPhone to the computer. To put the back up back, paste this:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes DeviceBackupsDisabled -bool false
I’ll make an application later for you guys.

1) It feels great in your hand. I don’t know about you, but it just feels right, and i like it.
2) Its a bit lighter. Yes its true, it is lighter, even though its a few milimeters bigger. Feels good too.
3) Have you noticed that the screen doesn’t really fill the whole phone? If you look closely at he edges of the screen and look around those parts, you can see it.
4) The dock connector is a bit harder to take out. Nothing to big, but it requires a little bit more force compared to the 1st gen iphone.
5) The speaker of the iphone is clear. I was messing around and played a song. It was so amazing! the spearker was crystal clear.
